Soft Goat
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Aug 2024
The Soft Goat Fall 2024 campaign is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, grounding high-end knitwear in the rhythmic, kinetic energy of New York City. Creative directors Stephanie Bergström and Erik Magnuson orchestrate a visual narrative that emphasizes the tactile luxury of the brand's cashmere and wool staples, favoring a restrained palette of cream, charcoal, and navy. By leaning into natural light and urban textures, the project achieves a sophisticated, cinematic atmosphere that feels both timeless and distinctly contemporary. The campaign is split between the discerning eyes of photographers Sebastián Sabal-Bruce and Jack Grainge, whose work brings a nuanced focus to the varied fiber textures of the collection, from structured wool coats to ribbed cable-knit sweaters. Expertly styled and directed by Columbine Smille, the imagery flows effortlessly between polished, high-contrast studio portraits—some utilizing dramatic low-key chiaroscuro lighting—and candid, lifestyle-oriented street photography. With grooming by Adlena and makeup by Chloe Grae, the styling remains consistently understated, ensuring the focus stays anchored on the craftsmanship of the garments. The use of natural light and shallow depth of field frames the subjects within the city's architecture, creating a sense of quiet contemplation amidst the urban sprawl. This body of work successfully repositions the brand within the luxury fashion sector by merging commercial utility with the contemplative, elevated aesthetic of modern fashion editorial work.
