Jordanluca
'Underwear 2.0' 2024 Ad Campaign

Jun 2024
The Jordanluca Underwear 2.0 campaign is a masterclass in raw, minimalist editorial photography that bridges the gap between utilitarian grit and high-fashion sensibility. By positioning the brand’s signature elastic-waistband briefs within austere, industrial landscapes and sterile studio environments, the project leans into a compelling juxtaposition of textures. Photographer Paolo Colaiocco masterfully employs a mix of crisp natural light and directional studio strobes, creating high-contrast shadows that emphasize both the athletic physique of the talent and the architectural details of the setting. Under the creative direction of Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto, the campaign channels a moody, tactile aesthetic, utilizing bold logo placement as a graphic element against raw concrete and industrial props. With art direction by Eric Brain and precise casting by Tytiah Blake and Unit C, the visual storytelling feels both intimate and detached. The imagery consistently highlights the brand’s identity through a blend of lifestyle framing and cinematic portraiture, moving beyond standard commercial presentation to offer a grittier, more elevated take on men’s underwear. By stripping away excess, the campaign keeps the focus sharp on the interplay between the structured, often unexpected footwear and the soft knit of the garments, resulting in a cohesive, modern visual language that feels distinctly aligned with Jordanluca’s signature rebellious edge.
