Movado
Fall 2024 Ad Campaign

Sep 2024
For the Movado Fall 2024 campaign, the brand leans into an aesthetic of editorial minimalism to spotlight its latest collection of luxury horology. Under the creative direction of Robert Lussier and the agency partnership of The Style Council, the campaign trades elaborate set design for a stark, high-key white background, allowing the subjects and their timepieces to command the frame. Photographers and directors Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott employ precise studio strobe techniques to capture a diverse ensemble of ambassadors, including Julianne Moore, Ludacris, Christian McCaffrey, Jessica Alba, and Tyrese Haliburton. The imagery emphasizes movement and athletic precision, with stylist Mel Ottenberg opting for a wardrobe of denim, tailored blazers, and ribbed tanks that provide a grounded contrast to the metallic luster of the watches. By focusing on direct gazes and dynamic poses, the campaign channels a contemporary commercial energy that feels both polished and accessible. The execution, supported by movement director Stephen Galloway, successfully synthesizes high-fashion photography with the brand's core values, resulting in a clean, visual narrative that reinforces Movado as an essential accessory for modern life. The consistent use of high-key lighting across all portraits ensures that every timepiece remains the focal point, underscoring the brand's commitment to clean design and functional luxury.
