H&M Distressed revival 2025

About

Distressed Revival is a fashion campaign for H&M that explores a relaxed, streetwear-inspired aesthetic. Through a series of studio portraits, the project highlights textured, vintage-inflected garments including layered flannels, oversized hoodies, and cargo trousers. Photographer Thomas Cooksey captures the collection against clean white and deep crimson backgrounds, utilising soft, directional lighting to emphasize the fabric finishes and distressed detailing. The imagery, styled by Daniil Kudryavtsev, leans into a minimalist editorial tone with model Jake Hodder showcasing the pieces in a variety of layered, casual silhouettes. With casting by Harley David, the project maintains a consistent visual language that prioritises garment texture and relaxed menswear proportions.
