L’idee Woman
Summer 2024 Ad Campaign

Jul 2024
The Summer 2024 ad campaign for L’idee Woman serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, grounding the brand’s signature accordion pleats within the timeless, sun-drenched landscapes of Villa Nemora in Tuscany. Directed and shot by Cheyne Tillier-Daly, with additional photography by Jacqueline Giltrow, the campaign leans into a narrative of elevated tranquility. The imagery alternates between expansive, lifestyle-focused garden scenes and moody, cinematic library portraits, creating a rhythmic dialogue between classical stone architecture and the modern, structural precision of the collection. Featuring models Lucy Markovic and Samira Philipsen, the visual language is defined by a sophisticated use of natural light, which is essential for capturing the interplay of shadows across the garments' intricate 3D floral textures and voluminous ruffled silhouettes. Hair by Eleven Australia and bold makeup looks by Brittany Mason—often anchored by a signature deep red lip—provide a sharp, high-fashion contrast to the organic garden backdrop. By blending commercial clarity with the atmospheric depth of chiaroscuro lighting techniques, the campaign frames the collection not just as apparel, but as a deliberate fusion of contemporary sculptural design and historic European elegance. The result is a series of portraits that emphasize movement and rhythm, perfectly showcasing the label's commitment to feminine, architectural silhouettes in a high-end luxury fashion context.
