BOSS
Fall 2023 Ad Campaign

Aug 2023
The BOSS Fall 2023 ad campaign represents a masterclass in modern luxury fashion, stripping away excess to focus entirely on the architectural power of tailoring. Under the creative direction of Trey Laird and captured through the lens of photographer Mikael Jansson, the campaign leans into a monochromatic, industrial-inspired aesthetic that feels both timeless and urgent. The imagery features a powerhouse ensemble of global icons, including Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Khaby Lame, Maluma, Lee Min-ho, and Patrick Mahomes, each portrayed against a backdrop of raw concrete and voluminous, draped grey fabrics. By utilizing soft, directional lighting and studio strobe techniques, the execution highlights the tactile quality of the collection, where the fuzziness of a sherpa coat or the crispness of a pinstriped blazer becomes the focal point. The work channels a sense of editorial minimalism, moving between lifestyle portraits and sharp, cinematic compositions that ground the high-end garments in a tangible, textured reality. Throughout the series, the interplay between structure and softness is palpable, reinforcing the brand's identity as a leader in global apparel. This project successfully synthesizes the diverse personas of its cast into a cohesive, sophisticated visual language that prioritizes clean lines and refined fabrics, resulting in a campaign that feels intimate yet monumentally stylish.
