Maison Margiela
Fall 2025 Ad Campaign

Aug 2025
For the Maison Margiela Fall 2025 ad campaign, the brand leans into its signature avant-garde ethos, delivering a visual narrative that bridges the gap between high-fashion editorial and cinematic storytelling. Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, the campaign masterfully synthesizes raw, tactile textures with sharp, architectural tailoring. Captured through the lens of photographer Paolo Roversi, the series utilizes dramatic studio strobe and low-key chiaroscuro lighting to elevate both the apparel and the house’s iconic leather accessories. The imagery, featuring Miley Cyrus, prioritizes a moody, desaturated palette that allows the interplay of skin, fabric, and artistic paint strokes to take center stage. With styling by Robbie Spencer, the campaign highlights signature Tabi-inspired footwear and distressed, painterly textures that feel both industrial and deeply personal. The production is rounded out by the precise contributions of hair artist Eugene Souleiman and makeup artist Lucia Pica, whose work on monochromatic eye details and slicked-back silhouettes enhances the collection’s minimalist, high-fashion impact. By focusing on structural silhouettes against stark, mottled backdrops, the campaign presents an exploration of form and identity. Every frame serves as a testament to the brand's heritage, utilizing bold lighting and purposeful composition to transform everyday luxury into a striking piece of conceptual art that feels both timeless and aggressively modern.
