Loewe
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Feb 2024
The Loewe Spring 2024 campaign, captured through the lens of photographer David Sims, functions as a masterclass in modern luxury editorial storytelling. Under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson, the campaign moves beyond traditional fashion advertising by grounding its high-concept silhouettes in a series of domestic and surrealist vignettes. The imagery moves seamlessly between natural light lifestyle portraits and controlled, studio-strobe setups, creating a deliberate dialogue between raw texture and polished commercial minimalism. Featuring a diverse cast of talent including Taylor Russell, Yang Mi, and Lim Ji-Yeon, the project highlights the tactile quality of the collection, from chunky, oversized knitwear and intricate draped fabrics to the house’s signature structured leather handbags. Stylist Benjamin Bruno balances the collection’s vibrant palette against minimalist, stark backdrops, while set designer Poppy Bartlett introduces playful, sculptural elements that soften the visual weight of the accessories. By layering everyday motifs—like rustic wooden tables and vintage automobiles—with abstract metallic forms and sharp, editorial accessories, the campaign achieves a distinct sense of curated spontaneity. The resulting imagery is simultaneously grounded and aspirational, leaning into a sophisticated, highly composed aesthetic that emphasizes both the craftsmanship of the apparel and the deliberate, artistic framing that defines the current Loewe identity within the broader landscape of luxury fashion houses.
