Fendi
"Fur Atelier" Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Apr 2024
The Fendi Fur Atelier Spring 2024 campaign is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping away environmental noise to place the focus squarely on the tactile brilliance of Fendi’s craftsmanship. Under the creative direction of Kim Jones and Karl Bolander, the project leans into a disciplined aesthetic that celebrates the intersection of luxury fashion and structural precision. Captured by photographer Craig McDean with art direction by Ronnie Cooke-Newhouse, the series utilizes high-key studio strobe lighting to emphasize the rich, diverse textures of the collection, from plush fur coats and geometric leather accessories to intricate laser-cut jackets. The campaign features model Aylah Peterson, whose poised, dynamic posture brings a sophisticated energy to the uniform grey studio backdrop. Through the lens of stylist Rae Boxer, the styling acts as a bridge between high-end commercial appeal and avant-garde silhouettes, further polished by the precise hair styling of Ryan Mitchell and the subtle, clean makeup artistry of Siddhartha Simone. The work succeeds by distilling the Fendi heritage into a series of sharp, portrait-focused narratives where the interplay of light and material defines the mood. Each frame serves as an exploration of silhouette and surface, utilizing a refined color palette to ensure the garments remain the protagonists of a undeniably premium fashion story that feels both timeless and contemporary.
