Westpac's '3%' campaign arrives as a vibrant animated commercial, developed by the creative team at BUCK Sydney. The project employs a series of surreal, comedic vignettes, ranging from hatching birds to boxing eagles, to build its narrative. The work centers on bold graphic illustrations and dynamic motion graphics. By utilizing whimsical storytelling and bright color palettes, the animation maintains a playful visual rhythm throughout the commercial.
Westpac · Double You
Westpac’s campaign, Double You, presents a narrative-driven commercial focusing on intimate family interaction. Set against urban street environments, the film follows a man and two children during a drive, emphasizing their connection through the simple act of play. The project was developed by BMF Sydney and The Tuesday Club, with production by Scoundrel. Utilizing a cinematic visual style and live-action technique, the commercial relies on natural lighting to maintain an authentic, grounded atmosphere throughout the city journey. Post-production was handled by Fathom VFX and ARC, while Massive Music Sydney and Painted Apple Moth provided sound. Media strategy for the campaign was managed by Spark Foundry Australia.
