Gucci
'Valigeria' Ad Campaign

Jan 2024
Gucci redefines the art of jet-set elegance with its Valigeria ad campaign, a sophisticated exploration of modern transit that balances heritage craftsmanship with contemporary lifestyle appeal. Under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, the campaign captures the seamless intersection of high fashion and functional luxury. Through the lens of photographer Anthony Seklaoui and the direction of Jeremy Z. Qin, the imagery leans into editorial minimalism, transforming sterile airport terminals into stages for quiet, refined storytelling. Featuring the brand ambassadors Ni Ni and Chang Chen, the campaign showcases an array of signature monogrammed luggage and structured accessories, brought to life through a blend of natural light and precise live-action techniques. Stylist Alastair McKimm curates a wardrobe of effortless staples—from sharp camel wool coats to vibrant, texture-heavy knitwear—that allows the iconic green and red web-striped travel pieces to take center stage. By pairing polished, cinematic framing with the raw, rhythmic movement of travelers in transit, the project channels a sense of wanderlust that feels both nostalgic and distinctly current. The result is a cohesive commercial aesthetic that celebrates the enduring allure of the Gucci brand, proving that travel is not merely about reaching a destination but carrying a legacy of style with absolute, unwavering confidence.
