For the Y's 25AW collection, Yohji Yamamoto leans into high-contrast monochrome imagery to capture the structural silhouettes of the season. Photographed by Max Vadukul, the fashion campaign features model Kiko Arai and supporting talent in a series of urban settings, ranging from open-air architectural spaces to industrial streets beneath highway overpasses. The series channels a raw, editorial energy through dynamic, high-speed movement and varied framing techniques. With casting directed by Shimana, the campaign emphasizes the textural details of the oversized tailoring and layered garments. The visual narrative is defined by the use of natural light and analogue film aesthetics, which sharpen the graphic quality of the draped silhouettes and contrast stitching against the urban backdrop.
