The Yohji Yamamoto Collections 25S/S campaign captures the intersection of architectural tailoring and raw, industrial environments. Shot by photographer Takay, the series leans into a moody, atmospheric aesthetic that emphasizes the fluid, draped silhouettes synonymous with the house. Working within stark, weathered concrete settings, the imagery utilizes analogue film and chiaroscuro lighting to highlight the intricate textures of the layered garments. Featuring casting by Shimana, the editorial is defined by its monochrome and desaturated palette, which serves to anchor the complex volumes of the collection against minimalist, gritty backgrounds. Creative execution was supported by hair stylist Asashi and makeup artist Asami Taguchi, whose work on the voluminous, textured hair and dark eye makeup complements the avant-garde character of the collection.
