De Beers · A Diamond is Forever - Desert Diamonds: You

Candice Shepstone with motion-blurred facial movement wearing statement globe drop earrings and a black blazer against a white backdrop. Project

De Beers · Shadows

De Beers explores the interplay between light and form in the 'Shadows' campaign, a monochromatic project centered on fine jewellery. Photographer Paul Scala employs a variety of technical approaches, ranging from high-contrast chiaroscuro lighting to deliberate motion blur and multiple exposure, to abstract the relationship between the human silhouette and the structural details of the pieces. Art direction by Richard Pang provides a minimalist framework that allows for graphic shadowplay and extreme depth of field, effectively isolating the diamond pavé settings and ornate drop earrings. Styled by Naomi Miller with makeup by Jimmy Owen Jones, model Candice Shepstone appears throughout in a series of close-up portraits that emphasize texture and tone rather than narrative. The work leans into a moody, surreal aesthetic, utilizing monochrome grading to highlight the reflective qualities of the jewellery against both light and dark studio backgrounds.

De Beers · De Beers Talisman Collection 2025 Campaign

De Beers presents the 2025 campaign for its Talisman collection, featuring model Adwoa Aboah. Captured through the lens of photographer and director Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the project highlights the jewellery's intricate craftsmanship through a series of monochrome portraits. The aesthetic leans into a clean, editorial look, utilising analogue film techniques to create a refined visual language. Set design by Andrew Tomlinson provides a muted interior backdrop, while styling by Alice Goddard, hair by Cyndia Harvey, and makeup by Lucia Pica focus on natural detail, including Aboah’s braided hair and classic architectural surroundings.
