Prada
Summer 2024 Ad Campaign

May 2024
The Prada Summer 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, seamlessly weaving together the worlds of high-fashion portraiture and still-life artistry. Under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada, Raf Simons, and Ferdinando Verderi, the campaign leans into a clean, sun-drenched aesthetic that celebrates the tactile quality of the collection. Captured by photographer Mark Kean, the visuals utilize a precise balance of studio strobe and natural light to emphasize the rich textures of raffia totes and structured leather handbags, which take center stage alongside lush, painterly floral arrangements. The imagery features models Ayo Hassan, Finlay Robinson, Ilya Vermeulen, Penelope Ternes, and Pierrick Grégoire, who inhabit a curated space defined by vibrant, minimalist backdrops and soft-toned surfaces. Stylist Olivier Rizzo brings a sharp, layered sensibility to the wardrobe, while the meticulous hair by Patti Bussa and makeup by Helena Komarova maintain a focus on refined elegance. By blending commercial precision with 3D render and CGI techniques, the campaign achieves a sophisticated, contemporary look. The final results read as a series of artful vignettes, stripping away excess to highlight the interplay between structured luxury accessories and the organic beauty of fresh, seasonal blooms. It is a striking exploration of summer light, grounded in the house's heritage of sleek, intentional composition.
