MAC Montreal
Brand Identity

Jul 2021
The brand identity project for MAC Montreal, designed by Caserne, transforms the museum's concrete architecture into a canvas for bold, expressive graphic communication. The execution leans into environmental branding, featuring large-scale exhibition banners and signage that contrast vibrant typographic fields against the building’s brutalist texture. Photographer Thanh Pham documents the installation process, utilizing editorial photography and natural light to capture the intersection of urban architecture and graphic design. The project incorporates documentary-style techniques, emphasizing the scale of the signage and the precision of the installation work through clean compositions and varied colour palettes.
