Holiday 2025 Ad Campaign
Date

Nov 2025

Description

Louis Vuitton transforms the traditional holiday narrative with their 2025 ad campaign, an atmospheric masterclass in luxury storytelling that favors ethereal wonder over conventional seasonal tropes. Captured by director and photographer Jonas Lindstroem, the campaign leans into a cinematic, otherworldly aesthetic, positioning the house’s iconic monogrammed trunks and handbags as artifacts of mystery within vast, wintry landscapes. From the serene, snow-dusted tundra to the quiet, reflective shores of twilight lakes, the visuals channel a sense of tranquil isolation, where reality meets the surreal. A recurring motif of floating, luminous lanterns serves as a golden, warm-toned anchor, providing a brilliant contrast to the deep, cool-blue dusk skies and the sharp, jagged silhouettes of distant mountains. With creative direction from Nicolas Ghesquière and Pharrell Williams, the campaign utilizes a sophisticated live-action technique to seamlessly integrate subtle VFX that elevate these lifestyle portraits into high-concept editorial works. The styling, curated by Victoria Sekrier with hair by Joseph Pujalte and makeup by Marielle Loubet, balances refined luxury with functional winter textures, such as heavy knits and layered outerwear worn by models like Jonas Glöer and Imane Benkaddour. Ultimately, the project excels by using natural light and negative space to craft a silent, immersive journey that invites the viewer to experience the holiday season through a lens of discovery and quiet magic.
