Bio

Born in Germany, Jonas discovered his passion for photography as a teenager, capturing the vibrant energy of skateboarding culture among friends. This early fascination propelled him into the world of visual art, leading him to assist a prominent fashion photographer after completing high school. He further honed his skills at the University of Arts in Berlin, complemented by a transformative year at the London College of Communication. Jonas has since cultivated a distinctive artistic voice characterized by an expressive, experimental, and minimal approach, often infused with conceptual depth. His unique vision quickly garnered attention, resulting in commissions from prestigious brands including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Cartier, Adidas, Moët, YSL, Lacoste, Burberry, and Armani. As an artist, Jonas continues to expand his creative horizons, directing groundbreaking music videos for renowned artists like Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem, while also pursuing personal projects in film and photography. His innovative work is earning him recognition on the international stage, establishing him as one of the most compelling young photographers and directors of his generation. Currently based in Paris, Jonas is represented globally by Iconoclast for film.
