Condition
Brand Identity

Dec 2018
The brand identity project for Condition serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism and high-end graphic design, channeling a raw, industrial aesthetic through a strictly monochromatic lens. By integrating cinematic techniques such as low-key, chiaroscuro lighting and crisp emboss & deboss treatments, the identity transcends mere functional branding to become a tactile experience. The project relies on a deliberate balance between stark, sans-serif typography and gritty, physical surfaces like textured concrete and asphalt, grounding the brand in an authentic, urban landscape. Graphic design agency COMMISSION brings a sharp, structural cohesion to the work, utilizing vertical typographic layouts and deliberate white space to create a sense of sophisticated, modern movement. From fitness-inspired resistance bands to editorial travel guides that navigate the streets of Paris, every touchpoint is meticulously curated. The result is a highly graphic and cohesive system that leans into the interplay between soft natural light and hard, dramatic shadows. This consistency elevates the brand, positioning it not just as a label, but as a lifestyle ecosystem defined by its attention to material, scale, and form. Whether through printed ephemera or large-scale vinyl signage, the project demonstrates how restrained design choices can communicate a profound sense of authority and clarity, establishing a visual language that feels both timeless and aggressively contemporary within the competitive streetwear and lifestyle sectors.
