Yohji Yamamoto
S'YTE PRINTEMPS / ÉTÉ 2024

Mar 2024
The Spring/Summer 2024 campaign for Yohji Yamamoto’s S'YTE line presents a series of studio-based portraits and group editorials that highlight the collection's layered, monochromatic aesthetic. Shot by photographer Takay, the imagery focuses on fluid silhouettes and sharp, structured tailoring set against minimalist, neutral backdrops. The execution relies on a desaturated color palette and soft, directional lighting to emphasize the textures of linen trench coats, oversized jackets, and embroidered details. Working with casting director Shimana, the production incorporates dynamic movement through long exposure techniques, often pairing a sharp, static central subject with motion-blurred figures in the background. The visual narrative is rounded out by hair styling from Asashi and makeup by Yuka Washizu, who maintain a clean, directional aesthetic across the lookbook. Models Holly Nicole, Marco Varcoe, and Sam Hough anchor the campaign, embodying the label’s signature blend of dark, contemporary minimalism.
