Description

The brand identity for the 14th Shenzhen Fringe Festival, developed by Untitled Macao, introduces a vibrant, expansive visual language across the festival's urban landscape. The project leverages saturated gradients and whimsical illustrative motifs to establish a playful aesthetic that defines the festival's presence across both digital and physical touchpoints. The system integrates bold typography with custom bilingual layouts, extending from program booklets and outdoor event banners to large-scale urban installations. By utilizing a saturated color palette of pink, yellow, and blue, the identity functions as a cohesive tool for community engagement throughout the city’s public squares and transit infrastructure. Techniques such as 3D rendering, vector illustration, and clean typographic grids reinforce the brand's modern, retro-inflected tone. The execution balances functional event signage with artistic graphic design, creating a consistent environment that serves as a backdrop for the festival’s interactive performances and public programming.
