About

The Somersault campaign for Oroton presents a juxtaposition of high-end accessories and athletic utility. Creative Director Matthew Edwards and photographer Victoria Zschommler orchestrate a series of clean, graphic compositions that place structured leather handbags against the backdrop of a gymnasium. By utilizing elements like pommel horses, vaulting boxes, and wall bars, the project creates a dialogue between the softness of luxury leather and the rigid, functional geometry of sports equipment. Fashion styling by Jessica Steuart-Hoyler anchors the aesthetic with a mix of tailored pantsuits, polka-dot ensembles, and sculptural silhouettes. The imagery relies on natural light and a disciplined primary color palette to highlight the tactile finish of the leather and polished metallic hardware. With prop styling by Kirsten Bookallil and hair by Lok Lau, the campaign maintains a consistent editorial language across its product-focused and portrait-led assets.
