About

The Studio 1938 project for Oroton presents a refined study in craftsmanship, framing the brand’s leather goods within the tactile atmosphere of a working atelier. The editorial series leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, utilizing raw design elements—such as paper garment patterns, sewing machines, and fabric bolts—to ground the featured bags in a process-oriented narrative. Captured by photographer Victoria Zschommler, the campaign maintains a consistent visual language across all portrait and product imagery. Art direction by YMD Studio and creative direction by Sophie Holt emphasize soft natural light and neutral tones, allowing the texture and form of the handbags to remain the focal point. Fashion styling by Jessica Steuart-Hoyler and make-up by Kristin Brett add a layer of tailored sophistication to the models, rounding out an understated and polished production.
