Oroton
Studio 1938

Jan 2025
The Studio 1938 project for Oroton presents a refined look at the brand’s craftsmanship through a series of editorial portraits and product still lifes. Set within a minimalist atelier environment, the campaign incorporates design-focused elements—such as paper garment patterns, sewing machinery, and fabric bolts—to frame the collection’s focus on clean lines and material texture. Creative direction by Sophie Holt and art direction from YMD Studio anchor the visual language, which leans into an understated, academic aesthetic. Photographer Victoria Zschommler captures the accessories in natural light, emphasizing the structured silhouettes of the leather handbags against neutral backdrops and industrial surfaces. The production features fashion styling by Jessica Steuart-Hoyler and make-up by Kristin Brett, maintaining a cohesive, clean sensibility throughout the series.
