Louis Vuitton
'La Beauté' 2025 Ad Campaign

Aug 2025
The Louis Vuitton La Beauté 2025 campaign marks a sophisticated foray into the luxury cosmetics space, masterfully blending the storied heritage of the house with a bold, modern vision for beauty. Under the creative direction of Dame Pat McGrath, the imagery captures an exquisite intersection of high-fashion editorial portraiture and sharp commercial precision. Photographer Steven Meisel anchors the series, utilizing expert studio strobe lighting to emphasize both the nuanced skin textures of his subjects—including Hoyeon, Ida Heiner, Chu Wong, and Awar Odhiang—and the intricate metallic finishes of the brand's new makeup line. Hair stylist Guido Palau frames these faces with sleek, architectural styles that allow the vibrant makeup palettes to take center stage, from graphic green liners to deep, saturated crimson lips. The campaign leans into a recurring motif of desert landscapes and abstract red sculptural elements, juxtaposed against clean, atmospheric blue gradients. This visual consistency creates a high-fashion atmosphere that elevates each product—whether a gold-cased lipstick or monogrammed eyeshadow compact—into an essential accessory. By resting these products against signature monogrammed trunks, the campaign bridges the gap between Louis Vuitton's legendary luggage roots and the tactile, refined artistry of its debut into the beauty market, resulting in an aesthetic that is unmistakably polished, cinematic, and profoundly elegant.
