Loewe
Spring 2024 Men's Ad Campaign

Jan 2024
The Loewe Spring 2024 men’s ad campaign is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, blending luxury fashion houses with a vibrant, graphic sensibility. Under the vision of creative director Jonathan Anderson, the campaign captures a dynamic interplay between texture and color, utilizing both soft natural light and precise studio strobe techniques to elevate every garment. Photographer David Sims crafts a series of striking portraits that frame talent Jamie Dornan and musician Omar Apollo in settings that range from sterile studio environments to stylized, avant-garde stages. The visuals oscillate between intimate lifestyle captures and high-octane cinematic moments, such as the moody low-key chiaroscuro lighting that highlights the intricate details of Loewe’s seasonal footwear and accessories. Styling by Benjamin Bruno adds a layer of curated eclecticism, pairing chunky knits and sequined ensembles with structured leather bags to create a narrative that is both grounded and theatrical. With meticulous hair by Duffy and makeup by Lucia Pieroni, the imagery remains polished, while the clever set design by Poppy Bartlett—featuring circular motifs and illuminated stage elements—lends the series an architectural edge. This collection leans into the brand’s signature playfulness, maintaining a cohesive aesthetic that feels both distinctly contemporary and timeless. By integrating live-action technique with high-fashion portraiture, the project successfully defines the season, proving that even the most minimalist backdrop can harbor profound narrative depth when executed with such creative rigor.
