Intermain delivers a sophisticated interior design for the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages, creating a welcoming public environment defined by warm materiality and refined corporate aesthetics. The project balances functionality with a calm, tactile atmosphere, utilising horizontal slatted timber walls and rhythmic wall sconces to anchor the various lounge and reception zones. A key feature of the space is the undulating fabric ceiling installation, which diffuses natural light throughout the waiting areas and ceremony rooms. The design leans into a clean, minimalist palette of polished concrete, neutral carpets, and soft bouclé textures, complemented by strategically placed greenery and organic architectural lines.
