About

For the Water • Ink project, ICICLE presents a fashion editorial campaign defined by a dialogue between structured tailoring and raw, volcanic landscapes. Photographed by Kin Chan Coedel and creative directed by Dou Qianlin, the imagery channels a minimalist aesthetic that bridges the gap between high-end apparel and traditional ink-wash painting textures. The campaign features an East Asian model set against high-contrast, rugged terrains of dark rock and snow-dusted ridges. The styling by Francesca Parise emphasizes clean silhouettes, utilizing a palette of monochromatic tones and earthy neutrals, with garments ranging from oversized hooded coats to layered knitwear. Captured with analogue film techniques and natural light, the work highlights tactile details, from the organic texture of stone surfaces to the movement of heavy wool fabrics.
