For its Holiday 2024 ad campaign, luxury fashion house DKNY captures the quintessential spirit of a New York City winter, seamlessly blending the polished precision of studio portraiture with the raw, cinematic energy of an urban snowstorm. Under the direction of Brendan Dacey and the steady photographic lens of Christian MacDonald, the campaign presents a curated vision of metropolitan festive style. The imagery transitions between high-key lighting within a controlled studio environment, where tactile textures like shimmering sequins, metallic cable-knits, and reflective satin are brought to life, and the evocative, natural light of the Brooklyn Promenade at night.
