For the Icon Issue of W Magazine China, photographer Zhong Lin delivers a series of high-energy fashion portraits featuring model Angelina Kendall. The imagery leans into a playful yet polished editorial aesthetic, utilising a neutral studio backdrop to highlight varied sartorial layering and avant-garde silhouettes. Across the feature, Kendall models progressive combinations ranging from structured kilt ensembles to monochromatic leather pieces and textured knitwear. Technically refined with soft lighting and macro-level precision, the project employs dynamic movement and selective high-speed photography to capture subtle details, from water-drop sequences to intricate jewelry. Styling by Austin Feng anchors the collection, complemented by voluminous, textured hair by Akemi Kishida and clean makeup by Min Kim. The art-directed studio space, designed by Manon Everhard, creates a minimal environment that allows the interplay of textures and accessories to take center stage.
