W Magazine China presents a dynamic fashion editorial for its Icon Issue, featuring model Angelina Kendall in a series of highly stylized studio portraits. The collection balances avant-garde silhouettes with layered textures, emphasizing the interplay between movement and stillness across both color and high-contrast monochrome frames. Photographer Zhong Lin captures the subject through a playful lens, utilizing techniques ranging from high-speed water splashes to detailed macro beauty shots. The imagery relies on soft, diffused studio lighting against neutral grey seamless backdrops, allowing the complex garment construction and voluminous hair styling to take center stage. Creative execution was led by stylist Austin Feng, with hair by Akemi Kishida, makeup by Min Kim, and set design by Manon Everhard. Casting was managed by Alejandra Perez.
