For W Magazine China’s Icon Issue, photographer Zhong Lin delivers a series of surreal, textural fashion studies featuring model Lulu Tenney. Set across stark urban rooftops and muted interior spaces, the editorial leans into a maximalist aesthetic where haute couture silhouettes meet brutalist architecture. The imagery explores a dialogue between soft, layered tulle and rigid, sculptural elements, captured through a blend of high-contrast monochrome and saturated, warm-toned palettes. Creative direction is driven by the interplay of fabric and light, with styling by Austin Feng defining the project’s distinct visual language.
