W Magazine China presents The Artisan Issue, an editorial fashion project featuring model Liu Wen. The series explores tactile textures and refined silhouettes, set against a curated backdrop of ornate interiors and domestic settings that lean into a nostalgic, retro aesthetic. Captured by photographer Nadine Ijewere, the project utilizes warm ambient and natural light to accentuate the intricate details of high-fashion knitwear, lace, and tweed ensembles. Fashion editor and stylist Audrey Hu coordinates the apparel, while makeup artist Valentina Li provides a bold aesthetic signature throughout the imagery. The production employs analogue film techniques and grainy textures to establish its editorial visual language.
