For The Artisan Issue, W Magazine China delivers a fashion editorial series featuring model Liu Wen. The project, captured by photographer Nadine Ijewere, explores textures and composition through a sequence of interior portraits and staged vignettes. Working with fashion stylist Audrey Hu and makeup artist Valentina Li, the production focuses on intricate textile details—ranging from tweed and velvet to floral jacquard—set against retro-inspired environments. The imagery leverages natural light and a consistent warm palette to bridge contemporary silhouettes with nostalgic, cinematic aesthetics. Techniques including analogue film and soft lighting contribute to the editorial's layered, composed atmosphere.
