Prada
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Mar 2024
The Prada Spring 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, distilling the brand’s complex design language into a series of stark, high-impact portraits. Under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada, Raf Simons, and Ferdinando Verderi, the campaign leans into a visual vocabulary defined by restraint and precision. Captured through the lens of photographer Jack Day, the series utilizes studio strobe lighting to create a bright, even atmosphere that forces an absolute focus on the tactile qualities of the collection. The styling, curated by Olivier Rizzo, bridges the gap between utilitarian functionality and high-fashion luxury, pairing structured nylon totes and glossy leather handbags with meticulously tailored ensembles. Models Hamin Yu, Julia Meseguer, and Pierrick Grégoire embody a composed, neutral aesthetic, their presence amplified by the polished, commercial polish of the imagery. Hair by Anthony Turner and makeup by Lynsey Alexander further refine this deliberate simplicity, ensuring that every texture—from the subtle black fur accents on polo shirts to the intricate floral prints—reads with crisp clarity against the uniform, minimalist studio backdrops. By stripping away extraneous environment, the campaign transforms into a rigorous study of form and silhouette, effectively repositioning the iconic Prada logo as the quiet, confident anchor within a sophisticated and modern commercial landscape that feels both timeless and distinctly forward-looking.
