Maison Margiela Maison Margiela Spring-Summer 2025 Avant-Première Collection 2025

About

Maison Margiela presents its Spring-Summer 2025 Avant-Première collection through a series of editorial images that emphasize structural design and tactile textures. Developed under the creative direction of John Galliano, the campaign leans into a deliberate, minimalist aesthetic, utilising natural light and a muted color palette to highlight the collection's tailoring and accessories. The photography, captured by Szilveszter Mako, places model Hsin-Yu Liu within textured architectural alcoves and rustic studio settings. These environments serve as a neutral backdrop for the collection's structured handbags and layered apparel. The visual language utilizes analogue film techniques and monochrome grading to create a grainy, refined quality throughout the series. Key collaborators include fashion stylist Tom Guinness, hair stylist Pierpaolo Lai, and makeup artist Vanessa Icareg, with set design by Edith di Monda and casting by Jess Hallett. Produced by Siyan Chen, the campaign maintains a consistent, desaturated focus that centers on the craft of the garments and the grain of the materials.
