Guilty by Association Brand Identity 2022

About

The brand identity for Guilty by Association manifests as a multifaceted visual system, spanning print media, environmental graphics, and product packaging. The project centers on a clean, structured typographic approach, layering bold sans-serif and serif typefaces against geometric layouts and archival imagery. Execution across the identity utilizes a combination of editorial design and graphic experimentation. Applications include high-contrast outdoor signage, wheat-pasted posters featuring hand-drawn marker interventions, and minimalist publication layouts. The design language incorporates both rigid, mathematical grid systems and expressive, gestural elements to bridge the gap between contemporary aesthetics and historical documentation. Project development was led by Talia Cotton, Tino Nyman, Matilda Diletta, Studio Fabio Biesel, Mariam Khalifah, and Both.
