FRAME
Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Apr 2024
For its Spring 2024 ad campaign, FRAME leans into an effortless, high-fashion narrative that captures the raw versatility of its denim collections. Shot against the iconic backdrop of the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, the campaign features Amelia Gray in a series of intimate, reclined compositions that blur the line between relaxed lifestyle imagery and sharp editorial polish. Under the creative direction and lens of Erik Torstensson, the project utilizes bright, direct lighting and studio strobe techniques to accentuate the tactile quality of the denim, contrasting rough textures against crisp white linens and minimalist studio backdrops. The styling, curated by Mel Ottenberg, favors a stripped-back approach—pairing distressed cut-offs and classic light-wash jeans with simple, monochromatic tops to maintain a focus on form and movement. The result is a clean, modern aesthetic that feels both accessible and distinctly premium. By prioritizing natural light and an understated, neutral expression from the talent, the imagery avoids the clutter of traditional advertising, opting instead for a deliberate, minimalist visual language. Large, bold typography anchors the frames, reinforcing the brand's identity while allowing the clothing to take center stage. Ultimately, this campaign succeeds by presenting a cohesive, lifestyle-forward vision that feels perfectly at home in the competitive landscape of contemporary luxury fashion houses.
