Elica: Brand Identity
Mar 2025
The brand identity for Elica, a leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, establishes a cohesive visual ecosystem across both physical and digital touchpoints. The project, developed by branding agency Landor, leans into a minimalist aesthetic defined by clean typography, geometric gradient patterns, and a refined monochromatic palette. Under the creative direction of Alessio Galdi, with executive creative direction from Mattia Castiglioni, the identity system integrates technical precision with high-end CGI. The design implementation spans comprehensive product packaging, stationery, and interactive digital interfaces, utilizing 3D render techniques to highlight the textures and engineering details of the appliances. The project incorporates sophisticated motion graphics and UI illustration to support brand tools, such as a dynamic visual generator. Design directors Andrea Maddaloni and Salvatore Illeggittimo, alongside motion designer Bernini Lorenzo and code designer Emilio La Mura, executed the system's interactive elements, while Amp Sound Branding and Subdivision provided sonic branding and CGI production respectively.
