Casablanca
Pre-Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Nov 2023
The Casablanca Pre-Spring 2024 ad campaign serves as a masterclass in luxury fashion houses balancing playful surrealism with disciplined editorial minimalism. Under the vision of creative director Charaf Tajer and art director Rashid Babiker, the campaign leans into a clean, studio-bound aesthetic that frames vibrant garments against stark, high-key white and neutral gray backgrounds. Photographer Corentin Leroux utilizes studio strobe and medium format techniques to capture a crisp, intentional clarity that allows the collection’s intricate embroidery, ombré gradients, and tropical prints to take center stage. The imagery moves beyond static product display, incorporating live-action techniques—such as a shattered ceramic vase or a model holding a vintage-style red film camera—to introduce a cinematic, narrative energy that feels both polished and spontaneous. Featuring models Maggie Maurer and Valentin Caron, the campaign is grounded by Francesca Parise’s precise styling, while movement director Pat Boguslawsk brings a rhythmic, poised fluidity to the posing that bridges the gap between commercial fashion photography and high-art portraiture. Through the expertise of set designer Corentin Still, the props, from bowls of oranges to architectural drafting tables, reinforce a thematic, elevated lifestyle. The result is a cohesive visual language that remains firmly rooted in the brand’s signature Mediterranean-inspired luxury while pushing into fresh, graphic, and highly curated territories.
