Xenia · Brand Identity

The brand identity project for Xenia Hotels masterfully bridges the gap between mid-century nostalgia and contemporary minimalist aesthetics. Through a sophisticated interplay of commercial photography and graphic design, the identity system captures the essence of Greek hospitality. Under the expert creative vision of Nikos Georgópoulos, the project leans into a clean, editorial minimalism, utilizing crisp typography and thoughtful material contrast to define the brand mark. The execution spans a wide array of visual touchpoints, from the tactile nature of embossed stationery and plush terry cloth towels to the clinical precision of vanity kits and hotel collateral. By oscillating between high-key studio setups and intimate, documentary-style lifestyle scenes, the project creates a narrative that feels both aspirational and lived-in. Techniques like sharp flash photography provide a modern edge, while the consistent application of soft natural light emphasizes the warmth and textures of the brand environment. Whether highlighting the delicate geometry of a breakfast spread or the stark, professional presence of a corporate brochure, the work demonstrates a refined balance of structure and organic detail. This comprehensive visual language successfully elevates the Xenia brand, transforming utilitarian items into storied objects that reflect a legacy of travel and leisure, ultimately anchoring the hotel chain in a distinct, timeless cultural context.
