The New Forest

The New Forest · Brand Identity

The brand identity for The New Forest establishes a visual language rooted in environmental stewardship and local landscape storytelling. Developed by Studio Glass with illustration by Lauren Marina, the project weaves together custom serif typography, playful vector icons, and a palette derived from regional flora, including Oak, Gorse, and Bracken. The visual system is designed to integrate into both digital motion sequences and physical collateral, appearing on everything from outdoor advertising posters to stationery and retail goods. The execution relies on a blend of clean motion graphics and organic, tactile photography. By placing printed matter and branded items directly into woodland environments, the work creates a seamless connection between the brand's graphic identity and its natural namesake. Utilizing live-action techniques alongside hand-drawn animation, the identity maintains a consistent, minimalist aesthetic that reflects a deep engagement with the local terrain.
