The Black Tux

The Black Tux · Brand Identity

The Black Tux identity refresh centers on a cohesive design system that blends formal menswear aesthetics with structured editorial layouts. Developed by Alright Studio, the project spans a comprehensive visual suite, featuring a minimalist approach to logomark development and a focus on sharp, high-contrast typography. The identity system leans into a clean, geometric visual language, incorporating abstract patterns and deliberate whitespace to ground the brand’s formal attire. This is applied across both digital UI and physical collateral, utilizing a sophisticated, neutral color palette that emphasizes the technical precision of the monogram and logotype applications. Live-action and editorial elements complement the graphic design, emphasizing the texture of tailored fabrics through natural light and subtle, warm-toned color grading. The work provides a formal framework for brand applications, from storefront signage to web-based retail interfaces, maintaining a consistent graphic consistency throughout.
