Social Studies · Brand Identity

Social Studies develops a distinct brand identity that blends editorial photography with whimsical, character-driven illustration. The project establishes a playful visual language, utilizing a rich palette of deep reds and cream backgrounds to frame intimate, curated event scenes. Graphic design by Decade and vibrant illustrations by Ilya Milstein define the brand's aesthetic, which frequently pairs clean typography with anthropomorphic figures. The project combines candid event photography captured by Matteo Montanari and Ryan Slack, creating a balance between high-contrast layouts and detailed, minimal compositions that support their party rental service.
