Peer Gynt festival

Peer Gynt festival · Brand Identity

TRY Design developed a comprehensive brand identity for the Peer Gynt festival, grounding the visual system in a blend of traditional Norwegian heritage and contemporary graphic design. The project centers on bold, custom geometric typography and stylized letterforms that appear across both digital and physical touchpoints, from responsive web interfaces to event merchandise. The visual identity balances sharp, angular display type with earthy, nature-inspired motifs, including deer emblems and wood-grain textures. The execution spans diverse formats, incorporating motion graphics, 3D renders, and monochromatic archival photography that connects the festival’s cultural roots to a modern, minimalist aesthetic. Key techniques include clean typography, intricate ink illustration, and precision motion design.
