Mark Gonzales · Brand Identity

This monograph, published by Rizzoli, serves as a comprehensive exploration of the Mark Gonzales brand identity. Designed by Studio Albin Holmqvist, the volume documents the artist’s visual world through a collection of graphic design, photography, and archival materials. The layout leans into a minimalist editorial aesthetic, utilizing clean negative space, bold typography, and vibrant color blocking in orange and yellow to frame interviews and photographic features. The project incorporates photography by Petter Löfstedt and Sem Rubio, capturing both candid street scenes and intimate portraits. The physical object emphasizes tactile craftsmanship, featuring a textured blue fabric cover with debossed lettering, embroidery details, and high-quality paper stocks provided by Wicotex and Winter & Company. The result is a precise print production that balances technical editorial rigor with the fluid, illustrative character of Gonzales's own work.
