Issue Magazine U.S. · THE SUN FACTOR

THE SUN FACTOR is a fashion editorial series for Issue Magazine U.S. captured by photographer Cristian Martinelli. The project features model Vera Vollebregt set against diverse coastal landscapes, ranging from sandy shorelines to craggy rock formations. The imagery leans into a sun-drenched aesthetic, utilizing natural light and high-contrast shadows to highlight the sculptural qualities of the wardrobe. Fashion editor Giorgia Melis curated the styling, which emphasizes layered textures through combinations of sheer lace, silk, leather, and intricate metallic accessories. The series employs an editorial approach that contrasts clean, minimalist garments against textured, earthy outdoor backdrops. Casting for the feature was managed by Theo Spencer.
