Gulf Western Oil · The Lone Rider

Gulf Western Oil presents The Lone Rider, a cinematic automotive commercial capturing the raw performance of a heavy-duty, custom-built off-road buggy. The spot follows a lone driver traversing a desolate, arid desert landscape, utilizing wide establishing shots to emphasize the isolation of the terrain. Produced by Scoundrel (Australia) with creative direction from Droga5 ANZ, part of Accenture Song, the project leans into a rugged aesthetic. The live-action technique is defined by natural light and warm tones, highlighting the technical details of the vehicle's exposed engine and mechanical components. Post-production and VFX were handled by Fin Design + Effects.
