Genentech · Born to Breakthrough

Genentech’s brand film, Born to Breakthrough, traces a narrative of recovery and return, following a teacher as she transitions from clinical environments back to her classroom. The film focuses on intimate emotional milestones, contrasting the stillness of medical treatment with the vibrancy of a reunion in a school setting. Produced by Omnicom Production with production services provided by The Capital Media Company Inc., the piece employs cinematic framing and natural light to maintain an authentic atmosphere. The visual aesthetic is defined by a warm color palette and raw, analogue-inspired textures that anchor the storytelling in a grounded, human perspective.
