Financial Review

Financial Review · Spring Issue

The Spring Issue editorial for Financial Review leans into cinematic storytelling, utilizing the confined architecture of a vintage train to frame its seasonal fashion showcase. Captured with a blend of monochrome tones and warm, intimate lighting, the series emphasizes the tactile textures of structured tailoring and period-inspired silhouettes. Photographer Holly Ward frames the collection through a documentary-style lens, utilizing analogue film techniques to heighten the industrial and atmospheric qualities of the setting. Fashion styling by Virginia van Heythuysen highlights the contrast between heavy, oversized outerwear and delicate, detailed pieces. The editorial incorporates a range of palettes, oscillating between cool, desaturated metallic tones and warm, intimate cabin interiors. Hair styling by Richard Kavanagh and make-up by Sarah Tammer complete the looks, drawing on natural, polished aesthetics to complement the project's consistent editorial tone.
