East Midlands Railway · Make Every Trip Epic

East Midlands Railway’s "Make Every Trip Epic" campaign highlights the travel experience through a blend of live-action and 2D animation. The spot features a purple furry protagonist transitioning from a quiet train journey into a vivid, animated exploration of London landmarks. Developed by agency McCann Birmingham, the production combines cinematic live-action interiors with dynamic animation sequences. The project, produced by Dark Energy Films with post-production and VFX by Creative Outpost, utilizes high-contrast color palettes to bridge the physical rail environment and the character's imagined cityscape.
