Boyds

Boyds · Brand Identity

The brand identity for Boyds establishes a sophisticated visual language for a high-end menswear retailer, balancing classic tailoring with unexpected graphic elements. The project spans a comprehensive array of assets, from live-action retail documentation and editorial portraits to surrealist print illustrations and motion graphics. By juxtaposing structured suiting textures against warm, artisanal environments, the brand identity creates a distinct retail atmosphere. Design execution by Defy and Visie Admin leans into a clean, minimalist aesthetic, incorporating vector animation and motion graphics to articulate the brand's versatility. The visual system integrates traditional menswear markers with conceptual flourishes, such as floral motifs and unconventional styling, resulting in a cohesive presentation across both digital and physical touchpoints.
