Babette · Brand Identity

Babette's brand identity project integrates commercial food photography with bold graphic design, establishing a cohesive visual language for the food and beverage retailer. The work draws inspiration from classical Dutch still life, using rich lighting and earthy palettes to elevate everyday culinary subjects—from fresh oysters and Tarrocco blood oranges to artisanal sheep milk ricotta. Graphic design by Monopo pairs serif and sans-serif typography with high-contrast color fields, applied across everything from storefront signage and business cards to outdoor billboard posters. Photographer Joe Woodhouse captures the campaign's tactile quality, utilizing natural light and documentary-style composition to emphasize the textures of the produce and the brand's rustic, artisan-focused market presence.
